World Food & Wine TV Festival

Food and wine TV programmes are a very popular TV program genre. Currently there are 2000 TV stations and companies that produce approximately 100,000 minutes food and wine programmes. Almost every TV station has its own food program.

In order to improve the communication of food and wine programmes, share experience of producing programmes, and provide a platform of exchanging food programmes, Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and China Food TV held the first World Food & Wine TV Festival.

The festival mainly includes four parts:

(1). 2010 World Food and Wine Shows Awards.

Excellent food and wine shows will be selected and awarded. All food and wine show producing companies are welcomed to send your shows to the committee. Awards such as Best Studio Food Shows, Best Food Show Director, Top-ten Food Show Producer etc. will be given out on the awards night.

(2). Exhibition and Trade Market of World Food and Wine Shows.

An exhibition of world food and wine shows will be held then. A market of copyrights trade will also be open then. We hereby welcome all companies to send your food and wine shows to us.

(3). Forum on Production of Food and Wine Shows.

2010 World Food & Wine TV festival will invite influential TV show investors, producers, and buyers to share their experiences on food and wine shows production. The forum will focus on the latest developments of food and wine shows production, and try to provide prospective and international guides for food and wine shows industry.

(4). Set-up of“Association of World Food and Wine TV Programs Producers”

“Association of World Food and Wine TV Programs Producers”will be set up then. The association aims at promoting and enlarging the exchange, trade and sharing of production experiences of world food and wine shows, and boosts the development of food and wine shows industry. Members of the association will meet annually.
